TinkerBell Party

What a fun party the Tinkerbell party
turned out to be!  I'm pretty sure everyone had a good time, and I know the birthday girl had a blast!  She got to have her friends Andrew, Maxwell, Kayley, Caden, Chloe and her cousin Dominic here and that just made it the best.  We almost didn't have Kasey and the gang here--her Mom is pretty ill and they had her at the hospital!  Poor woman did get to come home, but Kasey just didn't think it was possible to make the party.  I was so super happy when she called in the morning and said they were coming after all!!  HOORAY!  It just wouldn't have been the same without them!
Lauren got lots of cool Tinkerbell stuff, clothes, earrings and a princess scooter from me and her daddy.  Of course she was riding it all over the house!  We had a yummy cake from bethel bakery with, of course Tink on it!
It was a great 4th birthday!!

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY LAUREN AMELIA

Friday 6/18/10

I can't believe Lauren is 4 years old!  She is having a Tinkerbell party on Saturday and along with family she is having a few of her friends here too.  It's going to be fun, but crazy I'm sure.  Her daddy has to work tonight at the casino from 8pm till 4am, so it's her and I tonight.  We had some fun with the camera and we finished up the shopping that needed done for the party.
Happy Birthday sweet girl...I love ya!

Sweet Summer Time

The weather has been very sunny and warm so we spend a lot of time outside.  Lauren loves swinging and pretending to be driving her Barbie jeep to all kinds of places.
I'm so glad I'm getting the chance to hang out with my favorite girl--she's growing up so fast.  Love you sweet pea!

Friends that are Family

June 3, 2010

Today Lauren and I spent the day at Kasey's house.  Lauren and Kayley had a ball playing together and dressing up in layers of clothes and costumes!  At one point they were going to school, then they were off to a party, they went to a dance and they built their own house!  All in the matter of a day!  LOL  Such imaginations!  Caden was fire chief and the girls spent a lot of time trying to keep him out of their "girly stuff"--poor guy!  Chloe, she's a hoot!  She's toddling around now just getting into everything and being super cute!
Kasey and I enjoyed just hanging out together talking and trying to keep the kiddos in line.  We had a great lunch from Armstrong's and even tried to watch our soap--Y&R.
It was a great day!  We always have a great time with our friends that are truly family.

Memorial Day weekend

Memorial day weekend was pretty uneventful here.  I took Lauren to the park on Sunday morning so that her dad could get a little more sleep.  He worked the night before till 2 am and she got him up around 7, so he didn't sleep for very long.  We were the only ones at the park at first then a few other people came and Lauren was happy to have someone to follow down the slide.  LOL  We didn't do much of anything the rest of the day--Lauren's daddy was still tired and not in a very good mood.
Monday Lauren spent nearly the whole day at our next door neighbors house playing with the twins and riding her bike in their driveway.  I took that opportunity to get some scrapbooking done.  I got every kit put together that I bought except for one that I'm still not sure what to do with.  Kasey is going to give me her expert opinion on Thursday when we get together.  :)

Here are a few pics I took on Monday:
